GARDEN DESGIN
DESIGN PROCESS

STEP 1 CLIENT VISIT
We book an appointment to visit your garden and discuss what you need help with. The first meeting is always free of charge. The meeting normally takes about 1.5 hour.

STEP 2 SURVEY
We always carry out a topographical survey. The survey records the plot, level changes and existing buildings on the site.

STEP 3 CONCEPT
After the survey we create a concept design with 2D and 3D plans. The 3D drawings help you to visualise what your garden will look like. In addition to the drawings we produce moodboards to set the style and feel of your garden. At this stage we focus on the overall layout and not the details.

STEP 4 TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
Once the Masterplan is approved we produce technical drawings which include dimension plans, level change, cross sections etc. If the design needs any construction work (i.e. a pergola, retaining walls etc.) we will produce relevant construction drawings.
A lighting plan will be composed to ensure the garden is beautifully lit at night.

STEP 5 PLANTING PLAN
Our planting plan show you where the plants and trees will be located in the garden, A moodboard of the plants will make it easy for you to visualise the style of the plants.

STEP 6 TENDER DOCUMENTS AND SITE INSPECTIONS
Once the design is completed we appoint a professional team of landscapers who will implement the design. We also source and purchase the plants and the materials for installation. During the build of the garden we are available for project inspections, meetings, follow ups etc, which is key to ensure the garden is built to our specifications.
