BASTIÓN VERDE

A collaboration with landscape designer Mark Whiting. The client asked for a Mediterranean planting design for a long steep bank retained by a dry-stone wall. The curved shaped stone wall enclosed a sheltered spot for seating and a beautiful fruit orchard. The bank was planted with ornamental grass and textured shrubs such as creeping rosemary and teucrium. The planting also included a large number of olive trees, cypress trees and prunus cerasifera along the driveway.
